Last updated: October 6, 2026. This policy applies to two groups: visitors and customers of this website (Part A) and people whose business details are in our database (Part B).

Part A: Website, requests and orders
Visiting the website
The website is delivered through Cloudflare. Technically necessary data is processed (IP address, time, page requested, browser) to provide the site securely and to fend off attacks. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. Fonts are not loaded from third parties.
Analytics with Google Analytics 4 (only with your consent)
Only if you choose "Allow statistics" in the cookie notice do we use Google Analytics 4 by Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland. Google Analytics sets cookies (_ga, _ga_*) and processes usage data such as pages viewed, time on page, approximate origin (country/region), device and browser, and a shortened IP address. The purpose is to see which pages and content are used so we can improve our offer. The legal basis is your consent under Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR and Section 25(1) of the German TDDDG. Data may be transferred to Google LLC in the United States; Google is certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework (adequacy decision of the European Commission). The data is deleted after 14 months. Without your consent, Google Analytics is not loaded. You can withdraw your consent at any time with effect for the future via the "Cookie settings" link at the bottom of every page. More information: policies.google.com/privacy.
We store your choice in the local storage of your browser (entry "ed_consent") so the notice does not appear on every visit. The legal basis is Section 25(2) no. 2 TDDDG.
Requests and orders
We use the details you enter in our forms (company, name, email, phone, address, selection requests) to answer your request, prepare quotes and invoices and deliver the data. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR. Form data is sent via Cloudflare (Cloudflare Pages Functions) to our CRM system Odoo, which we run ourselves on a server of Contabo GmbH, Munich (server location Germany). We issue invoices with Zoho Books (data center in the EU) and manage delivery data in our database at Supabase (server location Dublin, Ireland). Payments in US dollars are received through Wise US Inc. We keep invoice data for the statutory retention periods and delete requests that did not lead to an order after 12 months.
Spam protection
To protect our forms against automated submissions, Cloudflare Turnstile may be used. It checks technical features of your browser; no advertising cookies are set. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR.
Part B: Information under Art. 14 GDPR for people in our database
What data we process
Business details about companies and the people authorised to represent them: company name, address, phone, general email address, website, industry, geodata, and the name, salutation, title and role of the person named in the company's legal notice.
Source
Publicly available sources: the company's Google Maps listing and the legal notice (Impressum) on the company's website.
Purpose and legal basis
We make the details available to businesses that want to establish business contacts (B2B direct marketing and sales). The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. Our legitimate interest and that of our customers lies in business contact; the data comes from information the company has published itself and relates exclusively to the professional role.
Recipients
Businesses that buy records from us, including businesses outside the European Union such as the United States. Buyers undertake by contract to use the data only in line with the GDPR and Section 7 of the German Unfair Competition Act (UWG) and not to pass it on. We document which record was delivered to which buyer.
Retention
We keep the details as long as the company makes them publicly available. If the public details change, we update the record; if the company ceases to exist, we delete it. If you object, we keep only the details needed to prevent the record from being added again (block list).
Your rights
- Access to the stored data (Art. 15 GDPR)
- Rectification of inaccurate data (Art. 16 GDPR)
- Erasure (Art. 17 GDPR) and restriction of processing (Art. 18 GDPR)
- Objection to processing (Art. 21 GDPR) – at any time and without giving reasons via our opt-out form or by email
- Complaint to a data protection supervisory authority (Art. 77 GDPR)
Please send requests regarding your rights to [email protected].
